Tasks for today:

Task 1
Research the life and works of Wilfred Owen. Find out about:
His army life
His poetry

You must find out at least 20 facts and write them into your exercise books.

Task 2
Transforming texts

You must then use your research to create a fact sheet/information leaflet about Wilfred Owen.

You must show your knowledge of: how to make information clear for an audience and easy to follow.

Task 3
Creative task

Use the netbooks to read the poem 'Disabled'

Write a diary entry or letter which reflects what you think the soldier is going through

•Using the netbooks, prepare a short presentation about the famous poet – Wilfred Owen

This should include:

Biographical information
Information about some of his famous poems
At least one poem
Information about his views about the First World War

•Also include ten facts about WW1 in your presentation
